View a new abstract oil painting posted on Saatchi Art. In “Turbulent Blue” mystery is created through contrast. Rich blues float in wispy whites marked by bright spots of light. Forces of nature appear to be confronting each other in a struggle for dominance. The painting is influenced by many years of canoeing on Lake Superior and Georgian Bay. The interplay of sky and water creates constantly changing atmospheres. These challenge and excite the adventurer in me. My intention is to awaken a deep respect and awe for the wonders of nature by presenting it in a new way.
