This year, the Enriched Bread Artists celebrate their 31st Annual Open Studio. In my recent series, Auras and Absence, I have painted only the negative spaces around the plants, which I have studied from early spring to fall. With the urgency of climate change upon us, these works question what might disappear in the natural environment and what might be left. Perhaps it will be just the memory of the colours and shapes or the occasion when we noticed their presence or absence.
As in the past, we expect our two floors of studios and galleries to be filled with hundreds of visitors. Join us over the two weekends.

Opening night: Thursday, Oct. 19th, 6 to 9 pm, 2023.
Saturdays and Sundays: Oct. 21, 22, 28, 29, 11 am to 5 pm.
