I am delighted to be a part of Cube Gallery’s online Great Big Smalls Exhibition. This is Cube’s 18th annual show of small works with a BIG heart! For the exhibition I am showing 4 oil paintings, influenced by my favourite places to walk and kayak. As an example, “Glimpse 7” captures some of the many wildflowers that cross my path while walking through old farmland that has been reclaimed by nature. To create highly textured surfaces on the canvas, paint is generously applied with a palette knife.
