Juliana McDonald’s oil painting, “Wetland 8”, recently sold at the Galerie Annexe, Ottawa Art Gallery. It is important to note that a collector can enjoy a small, original oil painting at an affordable cost.

The creek and wetlands close to McDonald’s home are a never-ending source of fascination. She is intrigued by the shifting reflections in the water and the diversity of grasses, flowers, and wildlife. Through her paintings she intends to awaken an awareness of the importance of natural habitats, not only for the wildlife and plants they support, but for our own well-being. All are inter-connected.
